"I have watched 'Badlapur' and 'Andhadhun,'
which were one of the best black comedy thriller films. The same director,
Sriram Raghavan, is bringing another thriller film titled 'Meri Christmas,'
featuring an unusual couple played by Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. The
film has been shot simultaneously in two languages, Tamil and Hindi, and the
side actors in both Tamil and Hindi versions have been changed. For instance,
in the Hindi version, Vinay Pathak is replaced by Radhika Sharath Kumar in the
Tamil version. If you watch the trailers of both Tamil and Hindi versions, they
are different. In the Tamil version, there is a photo of Kamal Haasan on a
waiting machine ticket, whereas in the Hindi version, it is Rajesh Khanna.
Keeping the audience in mind, the actors have been changed, making it actually
a good movie. The Tamil trailer suggests that the couple, who might be husband
and wife, are reuniting after seven years, possibly after a divorce. On the
other hand, the Hindi trailer introduces 'Sound Strangers Too,' lost somewhere
and meeting after spending 3 hours together, followed by the start of a real
murder story. Due to this, the trailer leaves the audience with numerous
questions, just like Sriram Raghavan's style, compelling them to create theories
about who committed the murder. In the story of Raksha, Vijay sir himself is
not playing the role of the demon, perhaps because, look at Vijay sir's
appearance, it's very simple, just like mine, and such a role is assigned to a
face that looks exactly different. So, the story of the film becomes more
enjoyable, and indeed, this trailer has presented so many questions that I was
waiting for another 'Andhadhun' style movie, and finally, in 'Meri Christmas,'
I can see that glimpse. In the starting, there are two different scenes running
at the same time, where on the left, there is probably Katrina, and on the
right, there is Vijay. In the mix, where she is mixing some medicine and drugs,
she might want to give someone that medicine and kill them. You will see that
the sweater she is wearing while mixing the drugs is the same sweater she is
wearing to the party in the same frame. On the right side, Vijay Sethupathi is
making dal and chili paste. So, there must be some connection between the two.
For sure, the audience should know that there is a threat, and they need to
deal with it, for which they have kept their weapons ready. So, let's see how
many theories will be created after watching this trailer, only after seeing
this trailer, and that's why I'm excited for this movie, which will be released
in theaters on January 12th. If you have watched the trailer, let me know in
the comments how you felt. In the next video..."
